| HAVENSVILLE -- Services for Wayne A. Randel, 64, of Havensville will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Methodist church at Havensville withburial in the America City cemetery in Nemaha county. He died Saturdayin a Wadsworth hospital. He was born July 1, 1901 at Corning. He was on active duty in the U. S. Navy until his release in 1952. He lived at Havensville after leaving the Navy. Mr. Randel is survived by two sons, Worth Randel of Havensville and David Randel of Westminster, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Sonya Jonesof Westminster, Calif., and Mrs Mary Hammer of Long Beach, Calif., four grandchildren; his father, George A. Randel of Corning; sevenbrothers, George V. Randel of Corning; Worth Randel of West Point,Neb., Garrett Randel of Long Beach, Calif., Arthur Randel of Santa Ana, Calif., Richard Randel of Kansas City, No., and Raymond Randel of Frankfort, Kan.,; and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Bottom of Havensville, Mrs Bess Brunner of Onaga and Mrs Helen Haldeman, 801Winfield in Topeka. The Tessendorf mortuary of Onaga is in charge of arrangements. |

| OBITUARY HAVENSVILLE -- Services for Paul D. Randel, 61, Havensville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Havensville Christian church with burial inHavensville cemetery. He died at his home Thursday, after a shortillness. Mr. Randel was born Aug. 30, near America City in Nemahacounty. He had lived in the Havensville community for the past 30years and was employed as a rural delivery man for the Post Office department. Mrs. Haldeman was a retired homemaker of 40 years.She was born September 16, 1914, in Corning, the daughter of George A.and Elsie O. Myers Randel. She was graduated from Corning highschool. She married Atwood G. Haldeman on February 12, 1938. He diedJanuary 23, 1979. Survivors include three sons, Robert V. Haldeman,Arden W. Haldeman, and Terry L. Haldeman, all of Topeka; a daughter,Kathy L. Roberts, Topeka; two brothers, Vernet Randel, Seal Beach,Calif., and Arthur Randel, Costa Mesa, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy Bottom, Havensville; nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.Services were at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 20, at West Lawn Memorial Garden Topeka, with burial immediately following. |

| Services for Worth E. Randell, 71, West Point, Nebr. were Thursday, October 14, 1993, at St. Mary's Catholic church in West Point. Rev.Steve Emanuel officiated, with burial in St. Michael's cemetery inWest Point, with military rites by American Legion Post 70 and the VFWPost 4912. Mr. Randel died Monday, October 11, 1993 at Bishop ClarksonMemorial hospital in Omaha. He was born in America City, Ks., January 25, 1922, to George and Elsie Meyer Randel. He graduated from Corning highs school in Kansasand served in the Navy during World War II. He married Alma Block,June 16, 1945 in Richmond, Va. He attended watch making school inKansas City and was in the jewelry business in West Point for manyyears. He retired and worked part time for Randel Jewelry Store. MrRandel was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Knights ofColumbus. He was also a member of the West Point Chamber of Commerce,American Legion Post no. 70, VFW Post No. 4912, and a past member ofthe West Point Jaycees. Survivors include his wife, of West Point; three daughters, Karen Welding, West Point, Connie Going, Spirit Lake, Iowa; and ElizabethWatson, Santa Rosa, Calif; a son, Glenn Randel of West Point; threesisters, Bess Brunner of Onaga, Ks., and Dorothy Bottom ofHavensville, Ks.; and Helen Haldeman of Topeka, Ks.; three brothers,Vernett Randel, Seal Beach, Calif., Arthur Randel of Santa Ana,Calif., and George Randel of Onaga, Ks.; eight grandchildren and agreat grandchild.
