Nike Commercial

Morgan had the opportunity to be in a Nike commercial with Lance Armstrong and some other cancer-survivin' kids. The film crew was very friendly and accomodating - even though the place was somewhat chaotic. The amount of people and equipment shipped in was almost surreal! Morgan had a great time with her friend Jennifer, struck up a new friendship with Hayley - and met "the fastest bicycle rider in the world." We also met some kids that we had not met previously and were once again humbled by the strength and courage of these young cancer victims. Ryan Caron is a boy who lost a leg to osteosarcoma and who is featured somewhat in that segment of the commercial - what an inspirational kid! You can read his story at www.ryancaron.com. The commercial is due to air on or about May 19th, 2004 and throughout the NBA Finals. We have no idea how much or how little Morgan's beautiful mug will show during the commercial. Lance was very cordial and promised to sign a picture we took of him with Morgan (#15, below) - after I get it developed. Extra-special thanks to Cynthia and Mary (Child Life heroes) for hooking us up and taking such good care of everyone! You ladies are the greatest!
